The Whitworth Art Gallery is one of the world's premier University art galleries and is located within the confines of the University of Manchester.
Boasting one of the North West's finest collections with an eclectic range of works amounting to a little over 45,000 objects. The collections of works on paper, wallpapers and flat textiles in particular are amongst the finest outside London.
The gallery continues to reinvent itself by expanding its premises with work being done to connect the indoors and outdoors by creating a new entrance at the back South West corner of the building.

Open daily.
Mon-Sat: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Sun: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
