The Wombats

Liverpudlian three-piece indie band, The Wombats, were formed in 2003 by three mates Matthew Murphy (vocals, guitar and keyboards), Dan Haggis (bass and additional vocalist) and Tord Øverland-Knudsen while at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
They released their debut UK album The Wombats Proudly Present: A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation in November 2007 where it managed to reach #11 in the U.K Album charts. One of the biggest highlights of their career thus far is playing in front of over 20,000 people in China.
