The Police Live in Manchester

Popular 80's rock band, The Police, will perform in Manchester for two nights in October.
The three-piece rock band consisting of singer/bassist Sting (Gordon Sumner), guitarist Andy Summers, and drummer Stewart Copeland was formed in 1977.
Following their whirlwind success of 1980 and 1981, in which they were named the Best British Group at the first Brit Awards and won three Grammy-Awards, the band took a sabbatical in 1982.
After several reunification attempts in throughout the late 80's and 90's, the band reformed in early 2007 to mark their 30th anniversary with the Reunion Tour.
