US Alternative rock band Smashing Pumpkins are one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed bands of the 90s with album sales in the region of tens of millions worldwide.
After a six-year hiatus, the band reformed in 2006 with original members Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin joined by newcomers Jeff Schroeder, Ginger Reyes, and Lisa Harriton. A new album, Zeitgeist, was released in July 2007 and has spawned the hits "Tarantula" and "Doomsday Clock" with a tour announced in support of this album.
