Manchester's Platt Fields Park is one of the city's principal parks and boasts 90 acres of different landscapes including a large central boating lake, wooded glades, hilly areas, varied sports facilities, a popular skateboarders arena, a bowling green and many more.
The origination of the park dates back to 1908 and has a long, colourful and fascinating history while continuing to serve a large concentration of Mancunians.
