The Manchester Evening News Arena aka M.E.N. Arena is the largest indoor arena not just in Manchester, but in the whole of Europe.
The famous arena opened its doors in 1995 and have since hosted some of the biggest names in live entertainment. The likes of U2, The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Ricky Hatton and the late Luciano Pavarotti have all performed at the busiest venue in the world based on concert ticket sales between January 2002 and June 2007.
The venue boasts a capacity of 21,000 seats and regularly attracts over one million visitors each year. The M.E.N. Arena was named 'International Venue of the Year' in 2002.
