Jobs Fair for Disabled People

The annual jobs fair for disabled people organised by Manchester City Council returns to Manchester for 2008.
This is a great opportunity for the disabled to build confidence and gain independence when applying for jobs. Employers from the private, public and voluntary sectors will be on hand to answer queries about specific job and career opportunities and to discuss various job vacancies available.
When?
May 22, 2008 -- 11:00am - 4:00pm.

Great Hall
Manchester Town Hall,
Albert Square.

One of my employees is wheelchair bound and we work in the music Industry. Until matters directly affect or relate to you, you don't realize the issues of some disabled people hey?? Like for us, many music venues do not cater to wheel chairs. Its great when you come across companies that prioritize access. Much awareness needs to be raised. Great post. Rock on.

I think it's bloody fantastic that they have these job fairs for the disabled in Manchester. Other cities around here really should follow their lead.
