Futuresonic 2008: Urban Festival of Art, Music & Ideas

Futuresonic 2008 is five days and nights of live music, exhibitions, club nights and events featuring a world-class programme of over 300 artists in 30 venues and spaces across Manchester city centre.
Music highlights include Wu-Tang Clan's The RZA performing as Bobby Digital, the only UK performance by Wire plus Venetian Snares, Chrome Hoof, Flying Lotus, Chrome Hoof, Luke Vibert, Rustie, Sequence, Dirty Projectors, Rolo Tomassi, Claro Intelecto, The Chap, MIT, Allez-Allez, Gay Against You, Agaskodo Teliverek, Bogdan Raczynski, Tim Exile, Computer Controlled, Mike Paradinas, N > E > D, Skeletons and The Kings of All Cities.
The festival's acclaimed art strand features world-first artworks everywhere, as an array of international artists present a sideways and playful look at social networking, with free exhibitions, events and happenings in public spaces all over the city.
