US heavy metal band, Down, isn't your typical 'Southern' band. This is a band that has been molded and twisted by their environment to be passionate, focused, hanging on to their NOLA pride and upbringing.
Formed in 1991 in New Orleans, the band regrouped in 2006 and promptly released a new studio album a year later in 2007 with Down III: Over the Under. The band will be touring the UK in support of this album that was written with the band's anger about Hurricane Katrina in mind.
