Billy Connolly receives his CBE
Scottish comedy legend Billy Connolly will be touring Manchester this September for three shows only.
Connolly is also a presenter, musician and actor, but remains best known as a stand-up comedian - reducing his audience to fits of laugher with his unique style of observational comedy.
He was presented with a BAFTA Lifetime Achievement award and a CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List in 2003.
The Big Yin (Scottish for "The Big One) will be performing at Manchester's Apollo Theatre.
