Ancoats: Manchester's Little Italy

April 1st 2008 02:45
Ancoats

In celebration of the completion of Manchester Museum's Histories Revealed oral history project, this fascinating exhibition focuses on Ancoats, an area once populated by large numbers of Italian immigrants and the birthplace of the modern day North West ice cream industry.

This exhibition will explore the experiences of Manchester's Italian population and their contribution to the city as we know it today.
