Albert Square is public plaza located in the Gothic heart of the city of Manchester and features many historical monuments including statues of Oliver Heywood, John Bright, James Fraser, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and a fountain erected for the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria.

Lying in front of Albert Square is the Victorian-Gothic styled Town Hall, another of Manchester's must-see landmarks.
